It is a capable thing, and it costs you nothing extra. But it only knows what you already knew to hand it. That is the difference.
It already knows the trade
Ask a Dietician about fermentation and you get an answer from a mind that was raised on the subject, not one improvising from whatever it half-remembers. Each specialist was aligned on doctrine written for its vocation and nothing else: close to half a million words, hand-authored across the forty, sealed into the agent and encrypted to your licence. It cannot be edited, copied out, or drift into something else. You are not briefing a generalist. You are hiring someone who already knows.
It stocks its own library
No books ship inside the agent, nothing borrowed, nothing to infringe. What ships is the bibliography: 386 expert, open-source works across the canon, seven to thirteen chosen for each vocation. Not a suggested reading list, the very books that specialist was built and aligned on. One click and it goes and stocks its own library: the Dietician fetches the USDA canning guide and Nutrition and Physical Degeneration; the Apothecary fetches its herbalism shelf. Then the library is yours too, sitting on your machine for you to read. Any agent in Deliberon can go and read. Only a CODE A.I. specialist arrives knowing exactly what to read.

CODE A.I. is a plugin layer built on top of the Deliberon framework, it requires Deliberon to run. The 40 vocational agents and their tools operate inside the same governed reasoning environment that powers the Council, inheriting its anti-sycophancy protocols, decision records, and structured deliberation. You cannot use CODE A.I. without Deliberon; it extends the framework rather than replacing it.
All 40 agents are live. Six already carry proprietary tools built for their craft, the Coder has a Terminal, the Writer has a Press, the Apothecary has a Hearth, the Chef has a Kitchen, and the Counselor has a Journal. The remaining agents will receive purpose-built tools as development continues.
